Hi, I’m Chris — Airbnb Superhost and proud owner of Byrn Derfel House, a peaceful holiday home nestled in the beautiful North Wales countryside.
From Rutland, I still live there today with my two much-loved cocker spaniels, Luna and Lyra (yes, they inspired the name!). I grew up locally, went to Uppingham Community College, and now work as a window cleaner. Outside of work, I’m a huge fan of rugby, football, and all things animals.
I’ve poured a lot of care into making Bryn Derfel House a cosy and welcoming retreat, complete with charming touches like its original Victorian fireplace features. Whether you're here to unwind or explore, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Located just a short drive from the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia National Park, our retreat is the perfect base for walkers, adventurers, and anyone who wants to soak up the beauty of North Wales. Historic landmarks like Caernarfon Castle are nearby too, making it a great spot for both relaxation and exploration.
